I have acquired a 1973 240Z that hasn't seen the road since 1978. The car covered 121,000 miles in its first 5 years of life, unfortunately year round in New York State, so when the floorboards disintegrated, the owner parked it in a barn where it sat until my friends and I pulled it out yesterday. Other than the lack of floors, swiss cheese fenders and quarters, and the fact that some of nature's creatures lived inside for a while, the car is stock and complete. The dash is perfect as are the heater panel, radio and console. It is a 4 speed with a R180 3:36 diff. Vintage Crane electronic ignition system.

Oh yes, CLASSIC flat top carbs too!

I will be disassembling the car over the next few weeks, so get your claim in on any parts you may need. I'm giving the Z community first shot before the parts end up on ebay. I can ship, but certainly prefer pickup.

Let me know what you need!

DIBS on the choke control handle!
Also the underdash defroster and vent tubing, and the wsw motor.

Also, Bryan Little needs the upholstered carboard insert for the rear hatch and hardware.

*(ASSUMING that all this stuff is compatible with the early and late 1970 carz).

Contact me via email with your wants fellas.

Took the dash out today, it is perfect except for the glove box liner. Pretty much everything else is up for grabs, except for the horn button and rear window stainless trim.

I'll be parting for the next few weeks, the carcass should be gone by mid September.

I do have LotZ of first generation Z parts in my garage from previous parts cars, some rare, some not so rare. I also have a nice set of Z32 stock wheels I would LOVE to send down the road.

Let me know what you are looking for!

I'm looking for a passenger side door shell for my 73. Got any?

John, here's what I could definitely use:

- the 24" long black vinyl cover from inside the hatch, the one that covers the lock assembly. Mine broke last week. Might be tricky to ship though.

- the fuel filter bracket from the passenger firewall. Is it in decent shape?

-Bryan

Hi Bryan,

The inner hatch panel that you speak of is in great shape, unfortunately it is not black, it is butterscotch.

The fuel filter bracket is solid but has surface rust. I would media blast and powdercoat it (that's what I did for my own Z).

Shoot me an email to zcarnut@hotmail.com if interested.
