This weekend I had the pleasure of looking at a black 1980 280zx with T-Tops and 116K original miles out in Hamburg NJ. I believe the current owner, a nice car guy named Wayne, is the second owner. I didn't drive the car but I was able to sit in the car, look under the hood and visually check it out. The car looks awesome, the body is in great shape, the paint job is decent and overall the car is in really good shape.

Let me know if anybody out there is lusting for a 280zx and I will give you Wayne's contact info.

The kicker...Wayne says that he wants $8K for the car.

If it's the black with tan leather and in good shape, (no rot, but minor rust underneath,) then 8k is reasonable. 1980 also has the best Tranni. IMO with the taller 5th. Well my dream ZX is the 82 turbo in that color tone, but this sounds like a car that would make some s130 guys jelouse, I'm feeling it already. Can you get some pics for us to see

I wish I had pics, but alas I was so excited to see this car that I forgot my cell phone at my friends house when we went to see the car... I told the owner about 100 times that he needs to post pics on this and the nyZcc sites!!!
