Posting this for a friend, who isn't internet or Z savvy.

The scoop: The original owner was broad sided by a driver. Had the door and part of frame rail repaired. Car has a rebuilt title and is registered in Middletown, Ct.
The owner then gave it to his neice who a) couldn't drive it b)wanted a bigger car.

Now the current owner needs a car for his family:

Price $2500 obo OR trade for Sedan or SUV
Owner: Sean P. 3rd owner
Car: 1987 300ZX 2 seat
Milage: 120,xxx
Build: 11/86
Vin: JN1HZ14S7HX208151
Color: Red
rim level: GL
Transmission: manual (71C)
Turbo: No
Emissions: Federal
Interior: Black
Modifications: Stock

Problems. The usual stuff. Paint chipping on bumper, speakers shot, suspension worn, some interior stuff isn't so good.

Good. Engine and trans are strong and reliable. Daily driver. But his only car and he is in need of a Sedan.
I'll get some pics up when the rain goes away.

*UPDATE*
Preventative Maintenance
We are putting in some new acc. belts, timing belt and possibly front main and cam seals if we have enough time this Friday.

Has newer tires in rear, rear brakes, and misc. other maintenance items.

New lower price.

He is willing to trade for a reliable Sedan or SUV.

Well, there were 33,621 built for that model year.

There are at least 1067 Z just like yours.

Quite possibly more!

Tell Shawn to bring that car to the show on Saturday and hang a FOR SALE sign on it! Everybody on the lot will have Z Fever before they leave, and will be ready to buy whatever is available!!! (Maybe).
