header was only used for a couple hundred miles and looks almost perfect. It has a few scratches from getting rubbed during installation. It has no smog fittings. This costs 300 bucks from MSA. I'm looking for 250 or will trade for a coated square port header with a sensor bung.

I just bought this identical header for my '70 240 (square port E-31, tho) and had it ceramic coated. I can confirm the replacement cost for this item is well in excess of $400 after coating. This is a steal.

I matched mine up with the MSA "Twice Pipes" and had them coated as well, so my entire exhaust system is this color from block to bumper.

Ceramic coating protects the pipes against rust and heat discoloration. Mine are coated inside and out (is this?) so the corrosive exhaust gasses and heat are simply channelized straight out the back of the car. I feel it's better than chrome (which will flake or discolor), or powder coating (which can chip).
