I picked up the fan from the club partz car at the meeting this past wed; It'll fit but is considerably heavier that what i had. Can't help but wonder if this is costing me horsepower. Any thoughts? I'll be in Wakefield sun afternoon,mayhaps i could crank over a couple of bridges and see what you have...

..........and the time I lose my internet, (Fri eve.) turned out to be a phone cord gone bad. Sorry. I would of drove there, we could of met at the Mews, one of my favorite places. Well must be a 280 fan, yea? I'd say a loss of 1 or 2 horsepower at that, as long as it cools the engine, until you find the original. Personaly I would look into a electric fan set up. This is what I will do if I run out of fan clutches.
