I'd bet that was Zeekers. Try a PM to him and ask. He has a beautiful dark green '71 (with '70 hatch vents) with Panasports. Really nice guy ~ his name is Ron.

Frank,

His car is image 11 of 28 at the Fall Outing. He stopped by a couple of weeks ago and bought my extra Motorsports 6-to-1 ceramic coated header. Nice solid CA car which had many nice subtle upgrades.

OH! That's Bill Moreau's car, "ZZZZZZYA". His 280Z is November's Car of the Month.

On our Homepage, press Bill's COTM link, to see pictures of his winning 280. There is also a picture of his ZZZZZYA car snuck in there. His car has deep skirts all around, giving him ground effects at speed.

I'm not the least bit jealous

Frank,

I screwed up. The car I am speaking of is a 240 - the third one to the left of the tree (after the silver and red car - away from the camera) in picture 6 of 28.

I'm quite certain his name is Dan. He arrived with his teenage son. Thanks.

Robin

Ross???

I can't get a good enough look at this car to identify it. Does our picnic register give you any hint?

Anybody who recognizes this car first, please sound-off. We're trying to contact the driver.

Thnx/Frank

Frank,

Thanks for the follow-up. I heard from "RON" Morales (not Dan - I'll be Ok!!) last evening after he got an email from you. Have a good Turkey Day!

You're Welcome, Robin!

 Hahahaha!

There are two things we lose quickly as we get older: The first is our memory, and I forget what the Second one is! I'm right with you, Mate! (I suspect I'm older than you are!) Welcome to the sheltered world of the boarderline senile!

Ronnie saved our bacon at the picnic. He saw how overrun the BBQ was and voluntarily sprang to the front to help out. He must have fed 200 servings before he finally sat down and ate anything himself ~ all voluntarily. Everything he produced from the grille was delicious, and nobody died (which was a good thing).

I love his car. He doesn't consider it "finished" yet (a common "Z Fever" symptom) but I would take it As-Is. For someone who has only recently joined us, Ron has certainly left an indelible thumbprint on our Club already. I hope he sticks around for many years to come.

Frank

The car is still for sale. I suggest any interested folks should stop by and see this Z in person.

MAN! I'm missing all this action! The whole car will be back together before I get time to drive out there and see it.

Can you slow down until after Christmas?
