1983 280ZX sold right here in Fairfield at Miller Nissan in 1983. Losing its garage space in 2 weeks. Selling as a parts car, but I drove it now and then last summer and fall as well as last week.. Was going to do restore and another paint job but another car is arriving. Must sell. Brakes are soft, the emergency brake was never bolted in, there is a key broken off on the rear hatch. Missing a windshield wiper blade in rear. The U joint is clunking but I have another half shaft for it. Drivers' rocker panel had small hole repaired with marine tex fiberglass. T tops do not leak but the windshield meeting the car did rust stopped and ......Air conditioning was removed by prior owner to allow for a KN filter in the grill. Prior owner is a mechanic and he rebuilt the top of the motor at 120k. Now has 172k. I pulled it out into the driveway Saturday to take lots of pics. My wife backed into that afternoon I am certain it is my fault .... now right front fender has a dent. I can send you lots of pics via email or text is easy. can even drive half way to meet up. Lots of parts, literature etc. Parts car price 1000.oo
Barry

If I had the room, I would scoop this up. For all the 240z owners out there that want to spice up their car up, this is a great deal. Your E31 or E88 head on this flat top piston block will get right around 10:1 compression and the close ratio 5 speed bolts right up too. It would be a whole new driving experience. I did this to mine 30yrs ago and its a night and day difference and you get to keep to OE block safely stored away. When Covid hit, I built a Rebello Racing 3L and once again completed changed the dynamics of the car so much so that I just spent 4k on the Z Car Garage bolt in big brake kit.

 agree.

This car won't last long at that price; it's actually worth more than that, parted-out.

Thanks Barry!

Took ownership of this one today. Officially a Z owner!

Plans are still TBD… might be a donor drivetrain or just a summer cruiser… TBD.
