Flashing red warning light - "Supplemental Restraint Warning". Feared a dealership feeding frenzy.....is it one of the 6 airbags, 2 seat belt tensioners, crash sensor or the system's wiring harness? Found a solution on You Tube!!! Turn the ignition key on until the warning light flashes on and immediately turn it off. Do this exactly four times. Like magic...system reset, no more warning light! Probably works on the 370Z too.
I know the 240-280 guys are disdainful of the later models, but thought you might have a laugh at this one.

Recycling the ignition 4 times seems to be a common 'cure' for re-setting warnings on several cars. Mini Coopers use it to clear several warning symbols, and Honda uses it to sync new remote lock fobs to a car. Older Fords used to use it (and a paperclip stuck in a reset button) to re-set the dashboard compass if it became confused. Now with satellite GPS that's no longer needed.

Actually, I have had a red light issue on my 240Z a few times. It usually happens when my wife somehow manages to accidently lift the handbrake on the center console causing the brake warning light to come on. No need to turn the ignition on and off 4 times for this one! :P

Tell her to keep her hand off the brake and put it where it belongs.
