Just watched this, it's hilarious. Thanks for posting John!

The combination repair manual/songbook is too much. :D

I'm glad you enjoyed it Jay! I hope you and yours are doing well.

I've watched various versions of this video and in fact used the "Rockwell" version of it during a control systems training session I gave back about 25 years ago. It was hilarious watching my small audience's eyes glaze over for about the first couple of minutes until some of them began to catch on and chuckle.

The origin of this video has a long history and I believe I read somewhere that GE may have used it as part of their training manuals many years ago. In every video version I've seen, I am amazed at how well the "actors" pulled this off. Check out the others on YouTube (search for "retro encabulator") and enjoy. :)

Here is a link that describes the history of the infamous "Encabulator".

Haha!
I visited my local Nissan dealership today to buy a new set of Nissan Sport Horns. Outside the Parts Department doorway there were stacked 4 electronic wheel alignment barrels which fit over each wheel. They are large and highly technical looking.

As I stepped thru the door the counter man asked if he could help me and I pointed to the aligners and said, "Oh look! You've got the new Turbo Ecabulators back in stock!" He roared with laughter and went right into a rambling dialog of how improved they were over the older T.E.s and how much better results we can expect from them!
He knew.

Hilarious and impressive video!

I can only imagine how many "takes" it took for these guys to nail it. The dialog is tough enough, keeping a straight face while delivering it must have been even tougher!

Thanks for sharing this!
