Boy, scratching my head on this . As I recall, the rear fender arches had a slight inward bend on the upper horizontal edge which tucked under the body sheet metal. The other edges I pretty much carefully trimmed them and butted them together and brazed them. After some joint grinding, a little filler and glazing compound, it came out "OK". Again, some of my work was redone by Jim Kinsella in 2002 who is a much better body man then me. Well it looks like you are on a roll. If you need an extra set of hands for anything, give me a call. You seem to be making great progress. |

Rich, I happened to have 2 Rocker panels from when I did my work back in 1986. As it turned out, I did not need them as my rocker panels were in pretty good shape. I bought them from Mill Supply in Cleveland OH. They are still in the box, are like new and even have the two tapped holes for mounting the lower front fenders. You are welcome to them. Give me a call if interested (203) 751-3015. |

You went 90mph around Lime Rock Raceway in that car. Probably scared them little mice to death! I know Jack Durand flushed one out in his roadster while swooping thru corner #3. Little guy came out and ran right over Jack and his rider. |

Looks better than holes. As Bob Sharp says, "Metallurgy was never their strong suit". Most of the car is made of 0.27" Japanese "steel". What are you using as stock? |

Does anyone know if the vertical part where the door hinges are covering the rocker has to come off to remove the rocker? I think the rocker is spot welded behind it. |
