Keep on rocking!

Kudos for tackling this and not turning her into a parts car. It's easy to get overwhelmed when there is rust to repair in many places, the best approach I've found is to focus on one area at a time, and don't pay attention to how long it's been since you drove it last.

The payoff is worth it!

with the warmer Sunday today I decided to tackle(timely football reference) the left rocker. Looks like another critter made it their home.

I'd never make 777 into a parts car unless she was completely totaled. And yes I agree small steps make it easier to get done. Last time I drove it was late summer but I did start it up and let it get up to temp about 2 weeks ago. Started right up with minimal cranking.

wheels are on but it would only take a few minutes to get them off and on your car. Compressor and air tools are ready anytime.

OK it's been a while since working on 777. I did the clutch in my WRX and it was time-consuming. Anyway I got a new set of inner rockers and tie-ins from Brent over at Prospect-D. Seems he's taking a break from fabrications to work on his own Z. I can't believe the high quality of his parts for being done by a guy with a regular job.

I also got one Tabco inner wheel well cheap on fleabay but still need the other.
I got the rear outer arches from Klokkerholm. they were cheaper that the Tabco units.

While the thing's apart I may as well do the floors too so I'm getting Zed floors from Charlie.
I haven't decided whether to get his rails or BadDog's
Any suggestions?

Sorry for the lack of updates but unfortunately 777 has been sitting in the garage patiently waiting. I’m back on the job though. I did post a progress report as noted.
Frank yes I’ve been riding my CB and am working on the CL also.

So little time.

Thanks guys! I followed the link and read up.

I remember going through this in the late nineties with my 260z. Allot of work but it's a good feeling saving them from rotting away.

Keep at it, one repair at a time. Enjoy those motorcycles as well, the weather has been really good for riding lately...... Here in PA anyway.
