The best of two worlds seem to be colliding before our very eyes. Our cars can soon have Weber-sidedraft-looking ITBs Check this out: https://www.yahoo.com/news/throttle-bod ... 13873.html |

Woww - those are pretty nice - and not really priced out of sight. Of course switching to F.I. means having some type of Engine Management Computer System as well. None the less, it would be very interesting to see how much HP you could get out of an otherwise stock L24 - with these and an adjustable ignition spark timing system like the 123 Distributor. Someone else - did the same thing for the Flat Top SU's.. some time ago..neat idea.. Carl B. |

The idea has sorta been around for awhile now, just this is a newer concept of hiding the injectors to give the car the old school look. A secret I've been keeping hoping to be the first at a show, but O' well. So there is also an SU version as well, so it looks like you have SU's with a little wire coming out to feed the injector. You do need an engine management system, like Megasquirt, but I hear there is better, but don't waste time using say a 280zx system.......it's like putting a Jockey on a Donkey and expecting to win the Kentucky Derby. (this is just the hear say I got, not my personal experience.) Of course for us Z people up here, if using these, make sure you use bigger snow tires for more traction.
