Engine stalled after 5 seconds from cold start. Re-started and ran fine but no tach, fuel gauge, temp gauge, etc. Everything came back to life after running for a mile.
Replaced the ignition switch - no joy.
Was going to replace the ignition and accessory relay today, but RockAuto sent the wrong part.
Took the cold relay from the car and put it in the oven to warm up for a minute and BINGO - everything working as it should.
So a new relay is the anZer.

Well good for you, because the next thing I was going to have you do after the voltage check and hardwire the ignition switch Idea..............Take a hair dryer to the ignition relay. Now if you can pop off the lid and clean it with brake clean and get it to unstick it could work forever. If it is electrically not good anymore, then replace.
