I remember you! We met at the North Haven cruise-in car show one night and talked about your Roadster!

How about some of us who own Roadsters, help a new guy out? If you don't have a spare dizzy cap in your garage, tell us where you get your Roadster parts?

Frank

Good thought, Filipe.

D.W., call our member Vinny at 860.355.182(nine) on Thurs (he's away this Wed) and ask him if he has one. He does total car work on old Datsuns in his speed shop in New Milford CT and has a lot of spare parts. Tell him you're our newest member.

Also, here's a Roadster parts source you might not have found before. Instead of using the term "ignition parts", he calls them "electrical firing", but who cares what they call a rose?

The caps may be the same for all size and years of Roadster engines. (Maybe?)

http://www.datsunparts.com/Electrical-Firing

AND, if you're willing to bet the 4cyl 1500 engines were all the same (trucks, sedans, Roadsters), there's this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Filko-distribut ... 35&vxp=mtr

(For $11, you can even afford to be wrong).

And while you're at it, I consider these guys to be pretty helpful with useful information about how to distinguish the old Roadsters from each other. Even within the same model year there were model differences:
