 Post subject: 260 vs 280 fuel tank

Can someone tell me if the early 280 fuel tank (to 7/76) is the same as a late 260 tank (9/74 to 11/74). They look the same in the drawings. The 280 tanks seem to be available whereas the 260s are impossible.

If my memory serves, the 280 tanks were favored by the V8 crowd in a 240Z because they had larger diameter fuel outlets for fuel injection...better flow. Can't remember the retrofit issues.

In terms of a size comparison you should check the archives at Hybridz.org.
