So I picked up a pertronix ignitor module for the 240(#1761) and I realized while trying to set the air gap to .030" that the included screws and distributor plate are countersunk. Every time I tighten the included or original screws it shifts the plate over to a gap smaller than .030". Does this matter for these cars? I didnt get the plastic feeler gauge that was supposed to come with the ignitor either so im starting to think that either the gap doesnt matter for this model or something went wrong with my order. :?

As long as it's close enough to create signal, and not touching nothing.

Installed it and everything seems to be working as it should!
