Seems very reasonable.

However if this is really the case:

"You have to remove the dash and take the shell off the metal frame to do it."

If you have ever tried taking the foam off the sheet metal, it may not be so easy as the foam is brittle and there are a lot of corners and nooks & crannies to free up. (I have tried and failed.)

Just be sure you have a successfully separated foam core before you cut them a check for the resto.
