Gee Mike, that's an excellent emergency DIY guide. Why not post that up in our TECH TALK and RESTORATION forums? Somebody might be able to use that some day.

In the meantime Al, is this car still for sale? I'll give you $1,000 for it right now, and fix the lights myself........ 8)

Frank

The last time lil red was for sale (and she wasn't even lil red yet) was when I bought her in 1987. She'll not be for sale again in my lifetime.
When I was moving her to storage this past fall, the lights did come on again for a short time, followed by a burning electrical type smell. After that the switch did'nt operate as smoothly as it had. So,I'm going to start there and send it back to that guy in the Rochester club to see what he thinks.
2013 will be a big year.

Al

Paul! Good to zee you come up for air! Happy New Year!

Most people would choose the LED lights for cars or also house decoration. So do I. After all, the LED car lights are getting more and more available and affordable in the cars and motors and would make your cars look greater.

Yeah,we talked about the irony of him being in the horsepistol last week w/ an infected leg as a result from a wasp sting. They were treating the wound w/ raw honey...

Dave is a miracle worker. When I restored my 240Z, he totally refurbished my headlight switch, turn signal switch and the wire harnesses. They came out absolutely better than new both in function and appearance.

I don't know how he does it, but he does! :D

I found this small pile I have set aside for you Al. There is an ignition switch with key, the light/blinker assembly, and the cover to hide it all. I'm pretty sure this was from the 240z stuff I bought awhile back. Your kindness and great parties has deserved you this for free. :D If you want/need this, I might be able to drop it off on my way to NY the 28th. I can go the back road to Middletown where I head towards 84.

Paul

I could crank out your way this week if you're going to be around. Is school out yet?

Al

I'm heading West Saturday, want me to stop by and drop these parts off, and any thing else you can think of.
