What should I order???????
Organic, ceramic, semi-metallic????
Any preferred brand???
For a daily driver, no competition use.
Just need a quiet set without clouds of brake dust.
Also need a set for a Benz 560SL. Pads fitted work well with minimum of dust, but scream blue murder.

I just bought a set from Napa called Adaptive One.
They are a Hybrid ceramic pad. I'm very happy with them performance, low dust and a decent price.

+1 on ceramic compunds. Stop well, good feel, last long, nice and quiet.

I have no first-hand experience with ceramic pads. Do they "bite" well in slow traffic like the sintered pads do?

yes, they have good initial bite and are also easy on rotors.
