I have a 72 z that I am slowly trying to get on the road. When I put it in the garage for the winter it was running, I drove it into the garage. Now that work is slowing down for the summer I decided to start working on it only to find the rear drivers wheel is locked up. I believe it is the brake, any suggestions. Secondly the clutch is not working either, when the car is running the clutch peddle goes right to the floor, was not doing this when I drove it into the garage, again any suggestions would be helpful.
Thank you.

That's right Phil, he let me know at the Middletown meeting. I just felt that they weren't my words to say. :)

Hi Jeff,

Not sure if this is your brake problem, but maybe the parking brake cable is seized?

It's not unusual for the rear brake shoes to "fuse" to the drums, especially if they were wet when parked. Try rocking the car to break them loose. In extreme instances, a sledge hammer to the drum will either free it or break the drum to get it loose.

It may also be a frozen e-brake cable which can also be a major PITA to free up. NEVER put the e-brake on when storing a car for an extended period of time. It WILL freeze up.

As for the clutch, you need a new master cylinder. Might as well replace the slave while you are at it, the parts are cheap.

Good luck!
