so i go to turn on the wipers on my Z and they dont move at all. the next day i took off the wiper arms and cowl cover to see what was going on and i found that the link that attaches to the motor was not connected, further more i noticed that a black plastic piece was broken which holds the link to the motor and i dont know where to find it or what to call it

Go to Courtesy Nissan site and they have the complete parts book break down. You can buy the part from them, their prices are fair. Link below:

Allan ~ take the part to our supporting Nissan dealership in your area, Miller Nissan (930 King's Hwy, Fairfield 203-335-3181). Tell them you're a CTZCC member and ask their parts dept to match that part for your car.

Also, Executive Nissan in North Haven will give you a CTZCC discount on parts and service if you want to drive there.

OR, you could have Miller identify the part number for you, give you a price for it, then order it thru our cooperative sponsor Rock Auto (www.Rock Auto.com) and buy it thru the CTZCC discount to save even more money. You can then put it on yrslf and save service charges.

Frank

If they don't have it in stock, at least get the part number. Then you can search for the cheapest price.
