I noticed my shift lever was really loose so I got into Keith’s 300zx at the meeting last week and noted a big difference. I suspected worn shifter bushings so I took it all apart today. They weren’t worn they were gone, completely missing. I replaced them with bronze bushings and it’s fixed. If any of you Z32 guys need tips on how to do this I would be glad to help out. Buy the way don’t attempt this unless you have small hands.

Cool. Sounds like a nice one-day project that turned out well with no unforseen setbacks. Not too many of those around!

Are these the Help brand bushings from the Autozone display?

That's what comes from those bone-crushing powershifts you make, Mike.
