I am trying to replace two air filters on my 1991 Nissan 300zx. I have removed the two 10mm bolts but cannot remove the front panel. I have tried everything but break it. Can anyone out there help me? thanx

There are two more 10mm bolts each about 3 inches closer to the center of the car. They hold down two brackets that come out from under the cover. Take those out and the cover will come off easily.

Thank You Mike! I did as you said and replaced both air filters. Seems the previous owner had some problems and made a mess, anyways, my z car is back on the road and running better than ever! I have owned car for half of it's 20 yrs and had never replaced air filters, so glad you were willing to help me. peace, George Werner
