Kind of a random question, but does anybody have the rough dimensions of a fully dressed L-series motor?

I know it weighs 636 lbs with the transmission attached, if that helps.

There's a lot of numbers in that one Cam. I'll give a better response when I'm home (on the phone now) but 86mm bore and 89mm stroke if I remember right. Frank is pretty close with the weight.

Yeah, figured it was a loaded question. Have a potential project on the board, know the swap has been done, but looking for some rough final confirmation to ease my worry.

I *assume* (oh, oh  ) you're talking about the external measurements of the engine itself, with all accessories? Like maybe for clearance planning?

Or do you need internal specifications?

Frank

Frank is right on the money, looking for external dimensions for clearance purposes.

Danka Frank. Hopefully this moves past the "idea" stage and into the "project" phase. Course till some of this ice melt's, not much is happening.

L28 in a 510? L28 in a 240sx? L28 in a B210? L28 in a roadster? L28 in a go kart? I'm just throwing stuff out there at this point.
