I just kinda miss The Carrot. I sounded distinctive (I suppose that's all changed now) and was easy to spot in a crowd of other Zs. And it had some unique gauges which were not to be found in other Zs.

Plus, while it's undergoing surgery, we don't get to zee Chris much anymore. If he was really clever, he would find way to get up to New Hampshah next week and zee all his CT buddies.

Frank

It doesn't sound like anything, really. I plan to hit it hard this weekend, possibly finish fabricating and connecting the brake lines in back, reinstall the fuel tank. If I'm lucky, maybe I'll finish the port/polish on that N47.

If I lived closer I'd show up more, but it still feels weird to show up without my Z... weird enough that I needed to put duct tape Datsun badges on my Mazda last year when I crashed Ross' house for the fall outing.

I just spent 45 minutes walking thru your Photobucket array on this car (one of the disadvantages of Photobucket ~ you show one picture and everything you ever took becomes available) and I notice you seem to have strategically-located air pressure relief vents behind both wheel wells :D That's an Outstanding idea and I wish I had thought of it while I had my engine out. You wouldn't even see them from outside, but they would be completely functional. Hidden performance ~ very clever.

I don't load EVERYTHING to photobucket though, only the imagery I don't mind being seen.

And they've been dimpled so as not to disturb structural integrity. I HAD hoped to connect those to side vents out of the car, eventually.

Like a Maserati 3500GT. Excellent idea.
A personal dream to someday do that to my Z.
