RDZ in Danbury; pretty close to you. They probably know of some upgrades and preventive procedures you might want to consider as long as the front end is off, too.

You can link directly to them from the left margin of our Homepage. Nobody's ever had a bad thing to say about them.

thx frank for your quick response and suggestion, but the problem is that the car is leaking fluid from the pump and i don't want to drive it like that.

If need be, get it towed there. I know RDZ provides towing if needed, for a cost of course. The details are on their website.

You will sleep much better at night knowing that your car is getting worked on by the best mechanic available. Everything you can find about Rich shows that he does outstanding work and knows his Z's inside and out. I brought my car to Miller Nissan in Fairfield CT and they also did exceptional work. Member Robert Maxwell is one of the head guys at Miller and he took unbelievable care of me there. Either RDZ or Miller Nissan are your best bets.

Trust me, you shouldn't trust just anyone with your precious Z. They are a pain to work on and it is very easy to mess something up.

That thing is a problem man. I ended up buying a complet kit with timing belt tensioner and let an auto repair shop do the work.

I always replace the timing belt, with tensioner and water pump. you can sometimes find the complet kit. The last one I did was on my Acura, got a Gates kit from Rock Auto, and it comes with all 3 pieces. I also ,while in there, replace the crank and cam seals. Easy job.
