Take your Z out get it up to 45+ MPH and SLAM the brakes on!

If you can lock them up then it is time to think about some maintenance.

It is possible they just need to be replaced, but most of the Z32's are now in need of replacing the master cylinder. The rubber seal fails over time causing fluid to leak on to the firewall and even inside the footwell. It is possible to rebuild them which is fairly easy and alot less expensive for the DIYer.

It is not hard to replace it, the harder part of the job is bleeding the brakes. The use of speed bleeders makes this job much easier.

I see many of them starting to fail, so take your Z out for the test and see where your Z passes or needs a brake system refresh.
