How easy / difficult is it to replace the dash bulbs in the 280Z? Mine are original and very dim. MSA sells higher wattage bulbs but before I order I want to make sure that the replacement process is relatively easy. Anyone know???

Thanks

Each gauge has to be removed. That's the most difficult part. The three small ones can be taken out through the heater panel. The speedo and tach are a little more difficult, I only tried removing them with the dash off, but I've heard you can pull them out through the front if you don't have a dash cap in the way (which is still possible, it just makes it harder. Once the gauges are out its really simple and straight forward. The heater control panel is similar, but really hard to get off unless you have a very short phillips and can fit your hand in small places.

Best way to figure out how the gauges are mounted though is to have a Factory Service Manual handy. It helps immeasurably.
