ok this weekend is a crucial weekend. i plan to drive my car to work monday and can use all the help i can get this weekend. the following needs to get done this weekend for this to happen.

rear brakes, bleed the entire brake system, change coolant, change oil, fix throttle sticking issue, get temp gauge working, change thermostat, bolt down driver seat, get front tires changed, and i'll be picking up a header and exhaust this weekend that will also need to be installed.

some of my co workers don't believe it will happen. i want to make them believers. i know Jim will be popping over. so if you have some time let me know and i will give you my number this way you know i'm home not out getting parts or something. if your a beer drinker it will be there. so bring your tools and bring knowledge. any and all help will be super appreciated. thank you all in advance.

Make sure you look it over real good before you come down because I'll most likely have every part you need. :D

if somebody else is heading over and passing through the meriden area i'm only about a mile away from midstate and the mall. shoot, with the majority of the leaves gone, you could see my house from 691 right now.

Ok I seem to be missing some intake manifold bolts and I think an exhaust manifold. What size are theZe bolts?

change of plans guys. due to the town hall needing more paperwork to prove i don't owe taxes i am going to have to wait to register the car until next year. but will still be working on the car and could use some help. so your still welcome to come down. i got to order some parts so i gotta wait on some things but i plan to get as much done as i can. i would like to get most of the mechanical done before thanksgiving. i'll worry about body work over the winter. thanks again guys in advance.

Well, this weekend looked like a wash-out anyway. That stupid hurricane is expected to drown about half of us, and the Bridgeport car museum event was going to drain many of us away from your project anyway.

I'm land-locked the whole weekend with a houseful of family birthday guests, so I'm not available for either escapade.

I would like to someday help you remove that passenger fender so you can attack the inner fender area to rebuild it. Whoever helps you adjust the valve lash can inspect your lashpads to determine if you need new ones or not.

Yeah this weather sucks. I'm gonna do the best I can. Try to you enjoy your weekend Frank. Going back to 32hrs at my work so I have time during the week in the morning to work on her. Possible layoffs so may have alot of time to work on her.

I have some manifold bolts from the L24 Partz Car. They're probably the same siZe you need. How many?

I also have the rear fascia panels which support the tail lights, in case you want to experiment with your tail light idea before carving up your car. I'll try to remember to post some pictures of them after the hurricane, to help you decide.

Remind me if I forget.

Hi Paul. Wish we had a cheap Club trailer so we could loan it out to members who need to transport their Zs for repair, etc. Even if we "rented" it to them at $10/day (Club donation), it might eventually pay us back.
