I bought SS brake lines from MSA for my 240Z. The SS line i got have female connectors on both ends. I need a Male connector on the Caliper end of the line.
Have they sent me the wrong lines? or do i have to go buy the male connector from a hardware store?

Why in the WORLD would they do that??? :? You can't use them like that.

I'd call their toll-free number (800.633.6331) and ask them, or call their Tech Line (714.639.2620) and complain. You should have the order number ready when you call, so they know what they sent you (and what they DIDN'T send you!)

Female connectors at both ends of the brake hoses is correct.

You should have a short, metal s-shaped brake line coming out of the back of each caliper and brake cylinder. That's what the brake lines connect to. Did you take yours off by mistake?

DON'T use AN adaptors on your brake lines, they're not the right size. If you need to fabricate new lines here are the proper sizes for 1970-78 Zs:

3/16" line, 10mm x 1.00, inverted flare. Make sure you buy them with "double inverted flare" ends, not "bubble flare"...otherwise they won't seal.

I have the S shaped pieces for the front brakes. I am upgrading the rear to disk brakes and that is where i need the adapters.

A 'Z' w/ 4-wheel disc brakes~ I hope you have one of those FLEXIBLE air dams or spoilers (as opposed to fiberglass) for when she noses down! I rode in one of those once.... Seat and shoulder belts are good for accident situations, but they are also good to help you keep from crushing your nose on the dashboard.....
