My fluid reservoir is low and I need to add PSF. Went to Pep Boys and purchased Lucas PSF. Research is suggesting to use ATF. Suspect the two have differing properties in the steering system. Not sure what the former owners were using. Not noticing any leaks. Thoughts :?:

Don't use power steering fluid. Use the ATX fluid. :)

I had a Monte Carlo back in College that I dorve back and forth from Columbus Ohio to Midland Michigan every weekend and had a transmission line break on the way back to Michigan and a Truck driver has some high pressure rubber fuel line and some clamps to help me repair it. Only problem was it was so low on fluid that it wouldn't move anymore and I had no way to get any. So I found out it took 36 cans of Dr. Pepper to get it moving again and it got to a Meijer's in Michigan and I took the rubber line off and let all the Soda pump out and filled it back up with ATF and drove it home. Car ran and drove fine.
