Looking at to buy a 300zx z31 series. Test drove car only concern was it may need a trans. or diff. Could just be a bad trans mount.

Have lots of 280zx parts.

Will a manual transmisson, and rear differential from a 79 to 83 280zx bolt into 84 to 85 300zx. :?: Both N/A.

No...'84 was the 1st V-6 in the fabulous Z-car. Thought I saw someone looking for a 5-gear in the wanted to buy section tho...

You want a 71c or a 30a trans from a Z31.

What are you looking to pay. A guy local to me has a decent one for sale, 87 NA with a good engine and trans and decent body for $2500.

There is a car on e-bay I drove out to see before bidding. As of now it looks like Im out bid so it wont be an issue for me now. Thanks for the info though.
