Quick update on the would-be vintage 240Z racer:

Exhaust is mostly done. I am using the Motorsport 6 to 1 headers into a 2 1/2" stainless single exhaust, fabricated myself. This is basically done, I just left the tack welds until I have everything 100% hung in case I need to make some last minute 'tweeks.'

Will be using silicone rubber hangers that I got off E-Bay - this week should be done 'hanging.'

Muffler is a single delta Flowmaster. And to finish it all off - a 4" stainless exhaust tip made from a malt cup (another EBay special; 6 of 'em for less than $20!)

Starting to prep various small details like mounting the 4 panel mirror, rebuilding the disty, setting up the carbs/manifold/linkage. I have a used windshield (thanks Frank!) that I am going to mount to be removable - good idea in a race car.

Photos later!

Hahaha! You're welcome, Murf ~ wish that windscreen had been more "removable" when I took it off the partz car! (Oh, what a job THAT was!)

I'm getting excited for you. With any luck at all you'll be racing this zeason. It'll be cool knowing some of the Club's Partz car bits are on your racer.

Hope you'll stick one of our new CTZCC decals on your window!

Frank
