Well my dad comes up to me and says that the mechanic "forgot" to put a hose back then tells me that the mechanic says that i need to replace the water pump and that the mechanic would do the job for $450 including parts and labor any thoughts

if the shop is a legal shop, and they forgot to do something, and your car has or will suffer, then there are some laws that will help. Tell your dad to tell the mechanic that the ct state attornee's general and the better business bureau would be interested in finding out more info.

Hi Allen,

I am sorry I did not see your post before. My name is Rich and I work on Z cars.

For future work please feel free to contact me. I can tell you when I work on your Z, it is done with caring and honesty.

These cars are very hard to work on and understand. Most mechanics can only guess as to the problem and then have no I idea the correct way to deal with it. This often results in more issues. I receivce more phone calls about how someone screwed up their Z or how they can't find anyone who knows these cars.

I have 15 yrs building, repairing, and racing these cars, so I know I can help.

I have many clients all over CT, NY, NJ, MA, RI, etc.
PLease feel free to contact me at 203-395-2452 or Rich@RDZ300.com for information or to setup an appointment.

Rich

Yea, there's this guy out by you I'm shure that loves to work on the Z32. Try Rich at RDZ. :D Stop taking your car to that mechanic, you need a technician, there is a difference. A mechanic has all the hot girls hanging on his office wall, a technician has degrees and certifications hanging on his wall.
