I put car in first to get going. Slowly release clutch while depressing gas pedal and as the car first starts to move it begins shaking ( feels like its around passenger side rear wheel area). My car is a 1988 z31 N/A. The shaking goes away after like 2-3 secondsand sometimes doesn't happen at all. I'm pretty confused and concerned as I am in love with this car. Oh she's manual transmission. Not sure if that matters. I'm also not that mechanically inclined , dad wasn't to good at teaching , you'd be hard pressed to find a better flashlight holder though 8). Please help me get an idea what's wrong.

If it doesn't happen all the time tho, I would suspect clutch chatter or a bad universal joint on one axle.

Z31's had issues with calipers in the rear.
