I had them rebalance the wheels again and they cleaned the crud from the wheel bearings. He said the tires I have may be on the way out as they were tough to get balanced. The car rides much better now so I will leave it for now. Jim

if your still getting wobble probs try swapping wheels from front to rear..
if the wobble problem shifts to the back then you've isolated the problem to your wheels or tyres

Good thought as I only rotated from front to back . At this point I don't think it could hurt to swap side to side as well . For the balance to go off after sitting for 3 weeks dosn't speak well for the tires . I think next spring when I replace the rack I will put some new tires on as well . Jim

gotta hate when u get GREMLINS....

Last effort to make sure wheels and tyres arnt the problem...
get one of ya mates who's willing to donate his wheels and tyres for a day..
Swap the wheels and see what each car does...

If both cars show no difference then you can concentrate on suspension or steering..

Now that's clever. Simple process of elimination. I suppose you might get some idea by using a pair of spare tires on one axle at a time, too.

"GREMLIN: A frustrating, persistent and often momentary automotive malfunction which defies diagnosis, analysis or correction. Eventually blamed on a mythical, invisible creature small enough to hide anywhere on an automotive chassis and create mischief for extended periods, before moving on to someone else's automobile. GREMLINS often defy physics, logic and common sense". :!:

yeah its always handy to have 2 Z's around...
numerous times we've had another car in peices trying to isolate problems.

Quite a few times we've found the GREMLIN problem and i've taken to the part with a hammer/chainsaw/nuclear device, just so the bastard Gremlin dies.....................hehehehehheheheheh...

i love solving problems but totally hate it wwhen i cant. grrrrrr

 gotta love those guys down under, they don't fool around alright. Well so you know, Ive seen tires in great shape that can cause a slight wobble if they're up front. I have a very slight one myself up front, so little most wouldn't notice, but I'm heading towards cheap tires. The only thing I haven't done up front is rack mount bushings, sway bar bushings, control arm bushings, shocks & springs, and inner tie rods. Nothing is loose or has play in it, but I'm shure and positive, when all that is replaced and new tires, (Pirrelli's) on after that, I will be all set. So it seams it never ends  , but some where it actually does. :D

I like throwing it in the scrap pile to add a few more Cents to it, and the sense to do so.
