Hello joined to get into the community. Still looking for a z. I've been looking for a couple years on and off. Sorta got detracted by having 2 daughters. But looking again. Really looking for a early 260z no sunroofs or 2+2. Would do a manual swap, I'm more than handy but have never ventured into body work. I like to drive. want a car i can roll the odometer over 3 times and not care about decreasing its value.

I've had a couple eclipses and 240sx's. Built them all. Family is full of classic muscle. Guess i want the best of both worlds.

Would you want a 76 280 in very good condition?

Wouldn't be against it. I have never driven a 280z I would prefer carbs but my long term plan on any thing would be a cam and HD8's anyways. But totally respect a good car. In my head i'm looking to spend between 4000 and 8000 depending on the car going by Hargerty's pricing and conditions.

Has the car been had any body work done. Tell me about the car. Would love some pictures.

Thank you,
Bruce

Welcome! Good luck finding your Z!! Keep your eyes open, they still pop up now and again. I'd say after you own one you will more than likely become familiar with bodywork.

Also, I've got an early 260z but it will never be for sale.
