I've been holding back from posting because I screwed something up and my posts disappeared. Jim is AWESOME though, and got it worked out for me. So here I am with some (sort of old) news!

12-15-15

♫♫♫ On the 10th day of Christmas I bought myself a Z! ♫♫♫
9 years of waiting
8 gallons of gas
7 bank transactions
6 firing cylinders
5 freakin’ hours
4 worn out tires
3 random chinese dudes
2 Zs I have
and one huge feeeeevahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
This isn't exactly how I planned it, but the day after I bought the 370z, the 300zx Turbo broke down. I blew a CV Axle turning left at an intersection. No clue how I did it, haven't had time to tear into it because of school. I should have a better idea come April, after I graduate.

Hahaha! :D

Now, THAT should be framed!

How did the Chinese guys factor into it?

Frank

By far the hardest deal I ever negotiated...the previous owner is a "kid" from China. Word on the street is that he was moving back, so he was selling all of his cars. He came along with 2 other Chinese guys. Of course the owner spoke broken English, so he brought a friend for translation needs.

More info about the car:

2010 Nissan 370z
Trim: 40th Anniversary (#759/1000)
Miles: 32K when I bought it. Rising quickly.

Car was purchased from a fellow in NY. Got it for under 20K delivered to my house. Very Very Very stoked. Came with Invidia Q300 Exhaust, a bottom rear brake light, and KN Intakes. The PO also gave me the stock intakes and exhaust.

And no, the Z31 isn't going anywhere :)

Thanks Jim and Frank. Now I have a Z for when my other Z is broken, haha. In reality, I really needed a second car to be able to wrench on the things that the z31 needs. :) I can't wait to come back out to see you all this Zeason!

And, I think that photograph qualifies for entry into the "Zs near bridges" photo contest.

(Of course, it would be really hard to beat Diego's entry).

Thanks Keith! She needs a good clean/buff/wax once it gets warmer, but I can't wait to get her out there none the less!

All right, I've been admittedly holding back a bit on y'all. I'm trying to wrap up this graduate school thing, and it is driving me nuts....

Anyway, whenever I get a chance to go home, I drive the car any and everywhere. I got the car up to spec in terms of an alignment and oil change. Finally gave it a good wash, vacuum and leather conditioner. Got some new goodies as well - new carpet rugs, tonneau cover, new weather tech floor mats. She's looking sharp. I'm looking at buying some tires this summer hopefully (Bridgestone S-04 Pole Positions), along with spending some time flushing all of the fluids. We will see. The 84 needs more work as of right now. Enjoy the pictures below.

P.s. If anyone wants to come out and cruise this saturday around Barkhamsted reservoir, let me know. ;)
