You were only waiting for this moment to arise....

What about the body kit? Will it survive being pulled off? Do you plan to reattach it?

Wondering if that body kit will survive being removed and replaced?

And any update on the center caps? I want to return Rick's loan ASAP.

This Z is for sale PM any questions.

Up for sale is my 1970 240Z I purchased this car in 1984 from the second owner in CA. VIN 10558 mfg date 9/70. This is an original rot free series one.
Started the exterior restoration in 1989 there was nearly zero rust and only had to replace the left rear quarter panel. Its was shot with epoxy primer and the first coat of paint applied.
I have two drive complete drive trains the one currently in the car is a 1978 280 with hi comp pistons race cam triple webers and header it was rebuilt and has low miles. The original 240 drive line is complete and the motor was rebuilt and has less then 200 miles on her it is not the original motor the car was born with as it was replace prior to my ownership.
The car runs and drives I just went through the webers. Has new tires new soft brake and clutch lines new master cylinders and slave cylinders.

Sorry to see this happen. I just found this thread and was hoping to Zee her all refinished and testing up the neighborhood.

I hope she finds a good home.

It was a year long decision to let her go. But with my new found racing interest's and sponsor obligations. I just dont see me having the time to restore her to all her glory. If she sells fine if not maybe down the road ill get her done.. whats a few more years after owning her for 37 years hell ive been with my now wife for 35 so the Z is my first wife... LOL

 Haha! That's funny.

For some reason I can't access your pictures. Will you try posting them again, please (the Z, not your wife). We have several guys looking for Zs right now, and everyone wants a late 1970. You should probably post this in the CARS OR PARTS FOR SALE, TRADE or FREE forum. That's where they will look for available Zs.
Still, I hope you keep it. I can't picture you without that car.

Having her that long I guess she's grandfathered in. I'd use that to my advantage haha. You can justify spending more than she's worth on her on grounds that she's part of the family!

Either way I hope things work out for the best for you and your Z.
