Hi everyone,

My name is Jayme Coggin. I'm a high school manufacturing technologies instructor. I'm super excited to have found a Z club. I've floated around some Z forums for a little while now. Just recently I stumbled onto this site. I hope to be able to make it to some meets next year. I plan on going to the fall outing this year. I'm excited to see some other Z's. I have a 2007 350z with almost 24k miles. I'm the second owner, my father bought it new in 07. He sold it to me after he had some personal issues. I look forward to meeting some of you. Here's a few pics of my car. Sorry for the iphone photos.

HOORAY! Another new Massachusetts member! Welcome, Jayme. I zee you're a high school instructor? As a survivor of a technical high school auto mech program myself, I can assure you every young life you touch will remember you fondly well into their grey years. They never think to thank you in advance, like I didn't. My instructors are both gone now, but I remember their voices each time I pick up a tool. It might seem thankless today, but you're making positive lifetime impacts on the kids you teach, believe it.

You should fit right in here, someplace. The CTZCC has more than 600 Z cars, and our members represent every (every!) level of Z experience. From the novice teenaged, first-car Z owner (yes, we have teenagers whose first car is a Z!) to 40-year professional Z car mechanics, and even 6-time world champion professional racer and Z salesman Bob Sharp Himself, this Club has a lot of fun sharing our questions and expertise with each other.

What a stunning 350! You have to be proud of that. Which gearbox does it have and which performance level is it? (I haven't yet learned to look at them and tell from the outside whether they are Enthusiasts, Track, Touring or Base). What are your impressions of the car, overall? In which 3 ways would you change it if you could?

We have several members from Mass, including some from the Z Car Club of New England. They attend our monthly meetings down here regularly, and hosted the recent Annual ZCon in Nashua which was a smashing success (and from which they are now slowly recovering  ). I do hope you will make the 11Oct Annual Fall Outing free picnic with us ~ it's great tradition and lots of fun, and your best chance to meet about 100 of us all at once and share a hotdog with Bob Sharp. "Most of us know most of us", and we'll be anxious to add you to our fold and your Z to our stable. Bring a date or your kids or whomever shares your love for Z cars. You're guaranteed to make new friends.

Welcome, again.
Frank T

It's a 6 speed manual touring package. I love the car. It handles well and has a decent amount of power, nothing overwhelming. I honestly don't know what I would change about it. Maybe a smoother gear box, mine is a little clunky. I'm really not sure. I love my car. It's bone stock at the moment. I will upgrade the car in certain ways someday. I'm just putting my effort into maintaining it at the moment. It sat in one spot for 3 years before I bought it (nasty)

Beautiful car Jayme. And the iPhone photos are actually pretty darn good. Our season has wrapped up although there is a Fun Run coming up at Paul Jensen's office in Shelton. Hope to see you there or next season.
