Hi,
Happy to have found a club in ct for z owners. My brother bought a 240z in the early 80's. He did a lot of work to it including new intake and carb, header and exhaust, suspension, brakes and interior. I loved that car. I wanted one for myself. Somehow i got sidetracked tho and ended up owning a few American muscle cars. After a 22 year break from owning a sports car I decided this was my year and just purchased a 370z touring/sport edition. Couldn't be any happier. I love this car. I am looking forward to enjoying events with the club this spring. Ill be enjoying my ride for the next few weeks before she heads into garage for the winter.

Wow, what a great story! Sounds like one of your fondest childhood dreams has finally come true, and you couldn't have choZen a better car to do it with! The 370 is awash in praise from everyone who owns one.

By the way ~ the Z cars today are pretty much impervious to winter weather and most road salt. Unlike the old originals, they are well undercoated and built to withstand most of what winter can send. They are low, however, so deep snow is a problem. But if your roads are only wet, your Z will be no less happy than if it's in a carwash.

I can only imagine what a wonderful summer you've had this year, finally driving your own Z! :D Is yours a standard or an automatic?

I'll bet money you'll spend at least some time this winter, just sitting in your Z in the garage, listening to the radio and planning Z trips. 8)

You've found a great Club to cruise with, and a good website to keep you sane during the dreary winter. Looking fwd to meeting you in person and zeeing your car!

Z ya ~

Thanks Frank,
I have reached the point in life that i can have a weekend only/warm weather car. Luckily I always have a four wheel drive pickup to use plus my better half has a couple cars. This z is our baby. She is as happy with it as I am. Oh and its the manual, had to wait till I found exactly what I wanted.

Welcome Dave!! The bad news is that you just missed another great CTZCC Z season. The good news is that there's another one right around the corner!

Enjoy the Z in the meantime. Anxious to meet you and your better half next year!

Well Dave, we've had a pretty e-Z winter so far; is your Z in hibernation yet or are you letting it run awhile longer?
