The only thing rounge with the car is it has bad hesitation problems but once you get over 2-3000 rpm's she runs amazing, or when your just cruzing around. anyways thanks for alowing me to join what seems like a great and well committed car club and look forward to meating and talking with some of you!!!

Ahhh, what a delicious car! :D Wish my 18-year-old cars were that exotic! Had to settle for '54 Chevys, '56 Oldsmobiles, a leaky Porsche and a slew of Austin Healeys.
You're a lucky boy ~ where'd you find that beauty?

Low speed hesitations are often ignition related, or relevant to a vacuum leak. Somebody on here with more 300ZX experience than me will have to recommend a starting point to begin your search. I'm an old-Z guy primarily. If you're in a real hurry, we know an excellent 300ZX shop in Danbury, called RDZ (Research & Development for the Nissan Z). Their advert is on our title page ~ just press their RDZ logo and you can call or email them for advice and appointments. Tell them you're our new member.

WELCOME, Chris. We're very glad to have you in here with us, and to welcome yet another member from Massachusetts. You're going to have some fun in here!

Z ya soon ~
Frank T

Welcome Chris,

I've got a 93, you'll enjoy it. While I can't give you mechinal advise on your hesitation I will make my typical observation that not many new Z32 owners know. If you didn't know it, your front passenger wheel is on the wrong side of the car. The Stock 16" wheels are directional and should have a L or R on them. Check to see if the Tires are directional, if not, you can swap the wheels around to the correct sides. Otherwise just wait until you need new rubber and if anyone else points it out, blame it on previous owner.

The club season has wound down. Until our events start back up next year, enjoy the forum.

RIGHT! You guyz keep in mind that our monthly meetings move around the state, to better reach all members fairly. There are several meetings down in the lower right hand corner (S/E) which draw many of our RI and MASS members. It always helps to caravan in together, just to build the memories and meet others from your own area.

Can't wait for spring, already!!!

Frank

Same car, same photo..... :?

Chris, if you sell this now, you won't have it for next summer's ZConvention (ZCon) in Massachusetts! We'll all be up there together, and you'll be driving a Jeep?

i got a mass airflow sencor problem
serious hesitation

Be careful please, about a hole in your exhaust during the winter. You keep the windows up because it's cold outside, and carbon monoxide can leak into the cabin and kill you. You simply fall asleep at the wheel.....
Be kind to yrslf ~ get that fixed first. You'd be no fun to us dead.

Tell your folks your exhaust leaks and ask for a new system for Christmas.
