My name is Barry McNelly. I have owed many a top rate muscle cars. From Corvettes to Cougers, Impalas, Mustangs.
My last car was a 2010 Mustang Gt. Unfortunately it came to an end in a totaling accident.
Hence, here I am.
I've wanted a Z since I worked with a man who owned one.

Now, I am the proud owner of a 2012 370z touring coupe.
Color is a stunning Black Cherry with black leather interior.
It is their 7 speed automatic.

I've never been able to break the rear tires on any automatic that I've owned without first riding the brake while revving to release.

Not in this Z!! Not used to the responsiveness I have done it twice so far, unintentionally, of course.

I live in Eastern CT not far from the Mass border. If 20 or so miles is not far.
I am a 68 yr old retired Postal Worker.
I am married. Father to 3 sons.

I am the Vice President of Tri Town Cruzers. We hold cruise nites every Fri at CT Golf Land in Vernon CT. Our cruise season begins this coming Friday. 4-27-12

Looking forward to meeting you in the near future.

Thank you for the invite.

Hi Barry,

Welcome to this great club!

Congratulations on your newest acquisition, I'm sure you are going to have a blast this summer.

Don't whip her out too much too soon

Hopefully I can meet you at our next meeting,

Filipe

P.S. Have you had the chance to post a few pictures of your Z on the "Member Rides" section? I've attached the link below:

HOORAYY! Another muscle car guy who's seen the light! :D

Welcome, Barry ~ glad to have yet another Baby Boomer in here with us (there are lots of us Howdy Doody kids in this Club). The Z car spans all generations, and you're right ~ each one was an eye-opener for its time, with performance far greater than you expected, looking at the price tag.

Most of us older guys have owned some kind of American muscle, and while we all have fond memories of the Chrome days, we are very, very happy we found the Z, and pretty proud of our cars today.

I sure look fwd to meeting you and swapping stories.

Very glad you found us.

Z ya soon ~
Frank T

Thank you for the warm welcome.
I'm looking forward to meeting up with you in
the near future.

If you get a chance to stop by CT Golf Land on Friday nights, I'll be there
with the Tri Town Cruzers.

Ne charge to enter. Just a great night to mingle with other car lovers of all types.

Excellent. Will do my best to be there this friday.
Yup, the link worked.

I noticed the event is from 5-9. What time do y'all actually start cruising? (In case I can't get there for 5)

See you soon [hopefully]

Perfect. That's what I was assuming after I saw the pics online, just wanted to make sure.

Sounds like a sweet deal. I really hope I can make it!

Welcome to the family Mac. I believe Jim, our webmaster, has to grant you access to post pictures. I'm sure he'll be getting to it soon! You can always PM him...
