Hello everyone. I met a member of this board today as I was walking to work and commented on his 350z. We chatted briefly and he directed me to this club/forum.

I have had a two Zs in my list of cars. ( Nova 350-Ci 1974, Srt-4 2004, audi tt 2003, Evo9 2006, S2000 2006, MazdaSpeed6 2008)

This was my 1982 280zx that I restored in college. I sold it to help obtain my Evo9.

I now drive a 2010 Nismo 370z. Stock besides clear-bra. I look foward to posting on this forum and meeting up at events around the state. Thanks for taking the time to look and read about me.

Great to have you aboard, Cerruto! We would love to meet you, and our next monthly meeting is at 7PM on Wednesday, 11May, at Executive Nissan in North Haven. We'll feed you and let you meet the members and zee our carz. The meeting will be over about 9PM but most of us hang out together in the parking lot afterwards and show off the carz. It's a good time and, as always, we're free :D . Bring your wife or girlfriend or another Z-interested-buddy if you wish.

Really glad you met another member already. This is one of the friendliest Clubs you'll ever find. We now have more than 500 members and we move the meetings around the state in order to be close to each of them. The North Haven location is very popular because it is centrally located, so many members can reach it and get home in a reasonable time on a weeknight. We generally pull about 40-50 members at these meetings.

Bring that NISMO with you! We have a few others in the Club and our members from RDZ (Research & Development for the Z) always have tricks to improve those cars.

Looking fwd to meeting you in person and drooling on your Z!

Frank T

Thank you for the warm welcome. I doubt that I'll be able to make it to the upcoming meet on the 11th due to travel time/distance. As a teacher I think the summer will allow for greater flexibility.

Figured I'd put up a picture or two of my Z.

Thank you again,

WOW! What a beauty! Lipstick red with a clear bra!

It must be nice to be rich. I guess we pay teachers pretty well! I'll bet your students have lots of questions about your Z when you drive it to school.

And let us know when you're tired of those wheels!

Our meetings move around the state, so eventually we'll hold one close to you. We understand weeknights ~ most people have to get up in the morning so mid-week meetings need to be nearby. We'll look fwd to meeting you (and zeeing your NISMO) soon.

Hey everybody ~ say hello to our newest member!

Frank

If I had a car like that, I DANG SURE wouldn't be driving it to school
where it could be abused (KEYED, stoned, etc.) by any of the little
rowdies we have trooping around school premises nowadays, pre-
tending to be students!

If I ever caught a kid defacing my car in any way, that kid would get
an education he didn't expect, and which wasn't in the town budget,
by promptly becoming the subject of a martial arts demonstration.
It would be worth spending a night in the slammer over.

I understand Cerruto's dilemma, however, because he would in turn
be promptly confronted by the ACLU on behalf of "Innocent Little
Johnny" and his fawning parents, because their precious "Innocent
Little Johnny" would NEVER do such a thing as that. And Cerruto
would thereby become the "bad guy," encounter serious legal expen-
ses, forfeit his job in a tough economy, lose his income and the ability
to own/support such a beautiful car, and spend some time in the slam
himself. What a crock.

It would be a lot easier to leave the Z at home and drive a junker to
school.

OH, YEAH. Now that I'm off my soap box, I remembered why I came
here to post: GREAT Z, CERRUTO!

All Z Best,......................Rick (and Kathy, of course)
