Greetings all! I just learned about this club recently from Isaac. I have a 2008 350z Nismo #1,394, my first fun car! Great to find a local Z club, and I look forward to events and activities!

Got the 1:18 die cast model of your car right downstairs!
So the little Nismo, and Kathy and I, welcome you to the Club.

I'm not too good on the later model Z Cars (say 1980 and up), so
could you possibly share with us what makes your Z a Nismo as
opposed to a "standard" 350Z? ThankZ!

Great to hear from you! And that NISMO is beautiful ~ can't wait to zee it on the AutoCross track this zeason.

I just got your corrected email address (thank you!) and will send you a Welcome letter tonight. The one I sent first came back to me.

This is a great Club, full of wonderful Z-Nutz. You're going to enjoy this crowd a lot. We have more than 500 members and over 535 Zs (and a few Roadsters and sedans).

You should give these guyz and galz a name they can call you. We love meeting new members so you're gonna get a lot of mail.

WELCOME ABOARD!

Thanks everyone!

Kathy and Rick, to answer your question, The car features numerous upgrades though the 306 hp 3.5-litre V6 remains the same.

Additions include the NISMO aerodynamics package with a front chin spoiler, side skirts and a new rear fascia with a diffuser. The car also features a specially tuned independent multi-link suspension, big Brembo brakes, a NISMO-tuned exhaust and NISMO gunmetal gray RAYS lightweight 5-spoke forged-alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenzas. The front wheels are 18-inches large while the rears are 19-inches. The interior features exclusive black cloth seats with red inserts and red stitching throughout, as well as NISMO white and gray gauges.

So long story short, same great Z, extra visual additions, some weight reduction, exhaust and the dual cold air intake. A 350z that can breath a little better with an excellent sounding exhaust (Not loud, but has a nice tone)

I also added in a big touchscreen stereo with two 10" subs and a custom box. I like the subs just to add a little more adrenaline while 'driving the speed limit' at times, nice little extra touch! I can add more pictures shortly.

Thanks again everyone, I look forward to everything upcoming this season!

Hi Kevin,

Welcome aboard. I too live in Groton. Hope to see you around town and maybe caravan to a few events from Eastern CT.

Keep an eye on the Schedule of Events and Events forums. We will be updating it next month for the 2011 schedule.

Great car Kevin, great choice to join this club. You will meet fantastic people. Your Nismo looks like the one of Mad Mike from Texas. AWESOME!

"Aweful" or "Awesome"?

Möglicherweise ein kleiner Fehler?

I'm thinking aweful,Frank. Kinda meanz the same thing, and I like the play on words. Besides, let'z face it,awesome iz so overused these daze. The Grand Canyon is awesome. A space shuttle launch is awesome. There's probably a few others I'm missing, but you get the idea..
Call it old school if you want.like, you know?
