Hey all Z lovers,

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member. Been driving and autocrossing a 2004 350Z Roadster since I got it in 2006, and recently got a card from our local mail carrier about CTZCC. Looks like a great club, too bad I missed the events this year, but I'll watch the calendar and get next year's event on my list!
I live in New London, work nearby in Groton, and also enjoy sport touring and commuting on my Honda VFR800.
Looking forward to meeting some of you!
Tim Anderson

And I wonder if we saw this Z at our first Club Autocross in Bristol on 08Aug? CART-CT introduced us to their wonderful regimen and about 30 of us went out and had a blast with them.

WELCOME to the Club! You just landed in the midst of more than 480 of the friendliest Z nutz you're ever likely to meet. We're very glad to have you aboard.

We just held our final official meeting for the year, but we are hoping to gather together one or two more times before we have to put the carz away for winter. Hope to meet you in person and check out your Z.

Thanks for joining! Relax in here and have some fun with us. Don't be bashful ~ we're all family in here.

Appreciate all the welcome messages! I'll have to contact the local guys directly so we can meet sometime.

On weekends some of us usually gather a few Zs together for a roadtrip somewhere. It doesn't have to be anyplace special, maybe just coffee or a drive up into the leafy part of the state during the fall.

Sometimes we go see some car place (like F40 Motorsports in Portland), or to the submarine in Groton, or to a car show or a cruise-in. Sometimes we actually go out of state to someplace special, like the huge car show at Rhinebeck NY, where we meet other Z clubs. Last month some of us drove up to Stockbridge Mass to find the original Alice's Restaurant. And as soon as I hear from Alice Herself, some of us will drive up to P-Town on Cape Cod to meet her and get her autograph.

Stuff like that.

I think this weekend there's one of CART's final Autocrosses up in Hartford. Maybe some of us will be there.

Until the snow puts the cars away for the season, some of us always do something. Maybe only 5-6 Zs, but you get to meet some great people, laugh a bit, brag about your car and eat some munchies.

Frank

Frank, - those weekend drives sound good - I'll watch for them. I may be at the CART autocross on Sunday if the rain holds off... And as far as snow goes, my Z is my daily driver year round - I take the the autocross tires off the spare rims, put on 4 snows, and keep going! Not as much fun as having the top down, but still good!
