Hi Fred! Welcome to the CT Z Car Club! I have received 7 applications for new membership this week and yours was one of them. I am sending you an e-mail explaining some interesting things about the Club you should know. I'm just a little busy right now preparing for the Annual Fall Outing picnic tomorrow.

That's a 1983 280ZX 2+2, and it looks pretty solid. How long have you had your Z and what does it need to satisfy you that it's "perfect"?

Please bring this Z to our free picnic tomorrow (Sat/09Oct) in Darien! We would like to meet you and have you meet us!

Welcome, good to see an older Z join in.

the car original one owner, very very solid.
there are some surface rust areas, but only surface.

The car sat in a garage for 25 years, Ihave done alot of work to it.
it runs drives its in very good shape.

unfortunately this car will be for sale and will be listed this weekend.

If anyone has any ideas, recomendations,,, etc.

yes, i would be interested in wheels if they are spec original.

I am selling the Z because I have been unemployed for 8 months and struggling. Keeping my house means more than the Z (barely)
I breaks my heart because this car has excelent potential.

I am listing it this weekend but would love to have input from memnbers of this club,
I wish I could bring it tomorrow....

maybe a club member will buy it. i hear Rick Morgan is buying up Z's left and right....

I would like very much if a club member bought it. I would like to stay close to it somehow.... one reason I joined here. I will post it in another board on this site soon. now that I know more about them, I look forward to my next one.... someday

I have known the car since delivery in '83 (I delivered it to my house this past spring after sitting in a garage for 25 years)
If perfect can ever be satified, It would take about another $3,000 (my opinion) to at least feel comfortable
