Hello to all,

I met Rick and Kathy Morgan at the 2010 ZCON in Nashville end of July. I had a very nice conversation with Rick about his # 13 Z car, what a nice car. He also told me about the Z club he was part of and invited me to join so here I am. I have a Silver 83 280ZX Turbo and a Black 2003 350 Z.

Hello, Woody! Glad to have you aboard, and REALLY glad to have someone from your neck of TN join us. I have close friends about 18 miles down the road from you (Gray). You're very welcome here. In case you're wondering, there are exactly 1,000 miles btwn you there and us here. I've counted.

Those two Zs look very happy. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the outstanding backroads you have there. I ran thru your mountains in four directions during my visits to your county ~ didn't make it to Cumberland Gap (other end of the state) but I heard the stories. I also drove down the East side of your mountains in a heavy rainstorm with a log truck behind me, and that didn't make me very happy.

I was surpriZed and a little saddened not to find very many Zs in Eastern TN. I think I saw ONE, once. Glad to have you there to represent us!

Tell us about your carz?

Frank T

Welcome Wood, it's always good to have more than one Z. :D Of course, now I have to paint mine the 2 tone, definetly, we can't have two 83 silver turbos in the club, we might get in the wrong car at the show. What's the option list on that 83? Mine is not the fully loaded version. Full would have the climate control, leather seats, defogging mirrors and most likely Digi Dash.

"Oh, ME of little faith" (paraphrase).
I should EXPECT that when I make an offer that can't be refused,
that it will be accepted.

Well it was, and I am so glad that you DID accept. I understand
how that at a 1000 mile distance you won't be able to make EVERY
meeting and EVERY event. So I will settle for 50%.

Seriously though, it isn't out of the question to make SOMETHING
at some point in time, when circumstances permit. So far we have
had members attend events from RI, MA, NH, NY, NJ, FL, WA, and
where else, Frank? Do I count from TX? Oh yeah, also GERMANY!!!
"Ah garn-dam-tee-ya" (TX saying) you and your guests would have
an enjoyable time, or I will personally refund your membership fee.

In the meantime, get to know the members, let them get to know
you, ask a lot of questions, crack a lot of jokes, share your know-
ledge and experience when you can, and just generally have a great
time interacting with your new group of friends.

What I'm saying is "Don't cheat yourself, it's there for the taking."

Welcome to CTZCC Tiger! Please don't be a stranger. It's nice to see the 280zxt membership ranks growing. Is your 280zxt an auto or manual? Any modifications yet?

That's a nice display, Phil.
Is that a photo of a showboard you had made up?
If not, you SHOULD have one made up.
BTW it would be easier to list what the car DOESN'T have!

LOL, just a picture of a word document I made up a few years ago when I had time to kill. My Z looks stock on the outside, but its had a few "improvements" over the years.
