Welcom Scott.

Nice to see a fellow 82 280zx owner.

350 in a ZX sounds great.

I have parted up 3 280zx's. Still have tons of parts. All stored in doors.

If you need something, I should have it. Tricky part is finding it

Hi Scott, and welcome to the family!

Westerly RI is 'almost' in CT, so you're actually a local! We have several very active CTZCC members there in RI and I'm sure you will meet them very soon, if you haven't already. There's also a 300ZX CTZCC Club Parts car there, as well.

The early ZX cars are very popular, and we have more than 100 of them listed in the Club, but NONE with a V8! Yours will be our first, but many of us have fantasiZed about doing that!

We have several 240s with SBCs in them, but no ZX cars yet.

Was the ZX engine running when you pulled it?

Howdy, Scott, and welcome! I promise you will LOVE this Club.

Kathy and I ourselves just got found last Aug 10 after 30 years in
hibernation, so we are pretty new to the Club as well. But after 40
years in Z's we just got our first ZX.

Might just take you up on your engine depending on what Vinny
Bedini finds when he goes thru ours. Ours is not what you would
call a pristine car by any stretch, so if the mechanicals don't look
economically feasible we will part it out. We'll see what the verdict
is and go from there.

Whatever happens to the ZX, we hope you will be able to join us for
our Aug 4th meeting. This will be quite a special meeting that you
don't want to miss.

All Z Best,.........................................Kathy & Rick

Welcome to the club! Had an 83 turbo myself. Now currently working on my 78 280z. If Rick doesn't take the motor I will. A turbo 280zx motor is a cheap swap for me. You will have a blast in this club! Can't wait to see your Z when it's done.

Welcome Scott. :D I'm over here in Middletown, and have tons of parts, maybe we can swap some things, I often give stuff away to club members as well. Do you have the 350 yet? I have a 4 bolt main block. I have an 83 turbo myself that is getting preped to paint, so driving the 240 this year. I won't be back from Tenn. until August 3rd. So welcome again and Z you around. :D
