Hello Everyone,

I have been invited to join by several members and have finally gotten around to it. Looking forward to seeing some of your cars, and talking racing, and Z's, or preferably racing Z's.

Hello Kieth,

Well lets see I started racing cars in 1987 (Drag Racing) then moved to stock car racing from 1990-2000. I raced in the Street stock, Late Model, ProStock, Modified, and Busch Grand National North series. I took a year off and got into road racing. Better for the family. This is when I bought my first Z car from North Carolina. It was an ITS SCCA car. I gradually increased the modifications to the car and ran in the GT-2 class where I won the Regional Chamionship two years in a row. Not too many cars in the class so the competition wasnt that great. From there I wanted to keep the car in its Historical condition and not modify it beyond the limits of Vintage racing. Vinny Bedinie built a great motor that I ran for two seasons and won a ton of races with. I continued to run in SCCA's Historic class and in HSR and SVRA vintage events. If you yahoo image search or Google image search my name you will see some great pics of the car. Anyway the car is completely rust free and very stout. 300hp out of the 2.8 ltr. Triple 45's, 13 to 1 comp. and a good sized cam. Fred Link who worked on the Bob Sharp engine program built this recent engine. I have an early 5spd, with a LSD R-200. We have run as far south as Daytona. Now thats a whole other story. I have lots of great in car video from most of the tracks we have run.
I just recently purchased a 1985 300ZX all original non turbo car from the original owner that I am looking to sell. I also have another 1971 240Z race car that I would also like to sell. One race car is enough. I have a small collection of other cars and currently work from my house on all cars but specialize in sports and classics. I also would like to find a nice 240 for the road. I am considering registering the race car. It will need to have a few things put back on but nothing too major. I guess that my Z story. Although they probably never end do they? Nice to speak with you. I can always be reached at 203-417-6624.
